Present: Stacey Embry, Mary Jo Jackson, Ann Brinson, Melissa Hedrick, Curtis Cunningham.
Absent: Kathy Jones.
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Mary Jo Jackson at 5:07 p.m. It was held at 600 N. Hunter, Versailles, MO 65084.
Public Comment: None.
Friends Report: Next event is Valentines Dinner in 2026. Next meeting will be Thursday, November 20 at 6 PM at the library.
Minutes: Melissa moved, Curtis seconded, to accept the September minutes as submitted. Motion carried.
Vouchers/Financial Report: Current balance as of October 31, is $260,109.23. Melissa moved, Curtis seconded, to accept the September report as presented. Motion carried. Ann moved, Melissa seconded, to accept the October report as presented. Motion carried.
Directors’ Report: Baker and Taylor is closing after 200 years. Working with Ingram for new books. Trying to find a good source for movies. The Building is ready for drywall. Staff is set for 4.5 Monday thru Friday and is working. Beanstalk app rolled out and just getting started.
Old Business: Remodel is waiting until inside has been finished.
New Business: Evergreen training tabled to December. 2 artists were selected for the mural and will be given more direction to see what samples they create. Curtis moved, Melissa seconded, to accept the 2026 salary schedule as presented. Motion carried. Melissa moved, Ann seconded, to accept the 2026 Budget as presented. Motion Carried.
Closed Session: At 6:18 PM, pursuant of Section 610.021.3, Curtis moved, Melissa seconded, to move to Closed Session. Motion carried by roll call vote as follows:
