Dear Bookworm,
I just finished reading a book about a dog, and now I’m sitting here with a box of tissues wondering why I keep doing this to myself.
Every time I see a dog on the cover, I think, “This will be a heartwarming story!” Then, a few chapters later, I’m trying to explain to my family why I’m crying over a fictional Labrador.
Should I stop reading dog books, or are they just too good to resist?
Sincerely,
Emotional Dog Lover
Dear Emotional Dog Lover,
You’re not alone! Dog stories have a special way of tugging at our heartstrings. They remind us of the loyalty, love, and unforgettable bond we share with our four-legged friends.
Even if they bring a few tears, they’re often some of the most memorable books we read. So don’t give up on them—just keep a box of tissues nearby!
And if you’re looking for your next great dog story, stop by the library. We have plenty of heartwarming tales featuring faithful companions, happy adventures, and yes… maybe a few happy tears.
Happy reading,
Dear Bookworm
