September 10, 2025
Present: Ann Brinson, Curtis Cunningham, Melissa Hedrick, Kathy Jones, Stacey Embry.
Absent: Mary Jo Jackson.
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Curtis Cunningham at 5:00 PM. It was held at 600 N. Hunter,
Versailles, MO 65084.
Public Comment: Notes were received from two young patrons and from a Summer Reading Program reader.
Friends Report: none.
Minutes: Kathy moved, Ann seconded, to accept the August minutes as presented. Motion carried.
Vouchers/Financial Report: Balance as of August 31, 2025, is $378,122.54. Melissa moved, Kathy seconded, to
accept the August report as presented. Motion carried.
Director’s Report: Hoopla has been adjusted to four (4) checkouts per patron per month. The circulation of
physical content as abated, but digital content has remained strong. Staff training for the Beanstack will be
completed before the app is launched November 5. The asphalt work in the parking lot will be September 17-18;
the library will be closed. Water damage repair and renovation continues.
Old Business: none.
New Business: Melissa moved, Ann seconded, to accept the 2026 Library Closure Calendar as revised. Motion
carried.
Kathy moved, Ann seconded, to accept the staff change of moving one part time worker to full time.
The Circulation Job description was tabled.
