STEAM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in five specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics — in an interdisciplinary and applied approach.  This event is open to kids ages 8 – 12.  Sign up is required.

May we will focus on ARTS and making coil pots.

June will be SCIENCE with musical instruments and other fun activities!

Julys focus will be Coding which is exciting because we get to partner with our MU Extension friends working on ENGINEERING.

August is back to school and MATH is the focus of our STEAM activities.  Don’t let that fool you!  Ours includes being outside with some interesting tools!

September brings back our MU Extension partners and TECHNOLOGY as we work on Robotics.

October is SCIENCE focus with some slimy mixtures!

November will be the month to focus on ENGINEERING and building structures.

December will finish off a fun year of learning with the MU Extension and TECHNOLOGY through robotics.

STEAM!
